A book hero and two artists
The LOGO of the 1991 YOUTH BOOK WEEK in Flanders was a stack of books with 2 boots, 2 legs and shorts on top.
The accompanying tagline was, "I've never been this big before," meaning, "The more books you read, the smarter you get."
Building on that logo of the Youth Book Week, I put Pinocchio on the pile of books ...
... and in his hands: a writer and an illustrator.
In particular: Geert De Kockere (often celebrated children's author and also the founder/editor-in-chief of KITS)
and myself - (Sorry if that was immodest) :-)
I didn't know we would be on the front page! Then I wouldn't have done it ... I guess :-}
